Frontenac’s approach is built upon partnering with operating executives, not financial engineering.

We fund and support our CEO1ST partners to acquire and grow companies. Unlike investment firms whose focus is “landing the deal,” we identify executives with outstanding industry knowledge and past performance, and match them with high-potential companies.

CEO1ST projects come about in various ways: an executive approaches us with an idea; we identify an executive from our own research; or we find a company in a targeted industry with an exceptional incumbent team. A CEO1ST executive may serve as CEO, Executive Chairman or lead director – depending on his/her own objectives and the specific needs of the company.

Commitment to our CEO1ST partners’ success has been rewarded with many long-term relationships. We have partnered with several executives more than once, and many are now investors in our funds.
